Sarah Schweizer grew up in Monkton, Maryland. Sarah became interested in architecture while attending Garrison Forest School, and as a result attended the University of Virginia School of Architecture, graduating in 1988. She has been lucky enough to have worked in residential design ever since, in Los Angeles for Boss Agnew Architects, in Washington D.C. for Barnes Vanze & Associates, and in Baltimore for SMG Architects. In 2000 she started scs, ltd. Her work has been published in Style, Baltimore Magazine and Chesapeake Home.

Sarah is a past board member of The Manor Conservancy and Garrison Forest School. She is currently a trustee at St. Paul’s School and the board chair at Ladew Topiary Gardens.
